Understanding the lack of opportunity, education and resources for the BIPOC community is the first step to making change. The industry is failing minority professionals, and it’s time to do better. Here at PCBIC, we want to be a resource of information on what the issues are and how to help; as well as amplify the voices of those who have something to say! It is crucial to stay educated on where we came from, how we got here and where we want to go.
Do Your Part.
It’s important to understand what the issues are, but it is equally as important we work together to eliminate those issues. Here are a few little steps toward making a BIG difference for the community:
Speak up, be open and loud with dispensaries and delivery services about what you want to see on their menu.
Spend more consciously. You choose where you put your money - put more dollars toward the culture. When you support PCBIC, you’re supporting multiple minority business at once! We source Minority Owned businesses as vendors partnerships to keep the dollars circulating.
Support BIPOC and Equity owned brands; support BIPOC + Equity Entrepreneurs and their growth within the cannabis industry! Challenge yourself and those close to you to get educated , to show up and get involved!
